About Annemarie
Annemarie Verkuylen (she/her) is an ambitious, charismatic and enthusiastic actor, singer and dancer, passionate about creating art that entertains and uplifts. Since the age of two, she has been captivating audiences both onstage and offstage. She has studied theatre extensively nationally and internationally: NYU Tisch, UCLA’s Herb Albert School of Music and School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and Cambridge University’s Pembroke College.
At UCLA, she has performed in two main-stage musicals: Something Rotten! (Ensemble/Portia understudy) and Into The Woods (Swing). Additionally, she has appeared in two new works: Dreamverse and The Golden Record. Other credits include Ensemble in Something Rotten! (Camino Real Playhouse), Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, and Lucy Van Pelt in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Raised in an immigrant family, Annemarie is deeply committed to the art of storytelling and creating a space for authentic representation.
When not performing, Annemarie can be found reading a romance novel, curating oddly specific Spotify playlists, writing song lyrics, or delving into the latest F1 race.
