About Cameron
Cameron Wycoff (He/Him) is a driven and compassionate artist, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His home was encompassed by a cacophony of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu, and Lauryn Hill. The songs of his childhood combined with the eclectic music of clattering dishes of gumbo, grits, and matzah ball soup built the foundation for his amalgamous upbringing.
Cameron grew up in a sports family, He was surrounded by ex-professional athletes who pushed him to work hard and strive to be the best he could be. Through his pursuits in basketball, he gained creativity, a work ethic, and a team-first mentality. In high school, he transitioned from basketball to Theater, a real-life Troy Bolton. Ultimately finding a home at UCLA, Cameron has developed into a confident and intelligent actor and member of his community.
It has been fulfilling for Cameron to be part of student theater, theater department productions, and student films throughout his time at UCLA. He studied abroad at the London Academy of the Dramatic Arts. He participated in several student-produced projects including Goodbye Billy the Butterfly (Andrew) and Old, New, Borrowed, Blue (Lucas). He was also in the UCLA Theater Department productions of The Time of Your Life, where he played The Man and Understudied Joe and Tom, and Fairview, where he played Dayton. He loved his time taking classes with The Actors Gang, where he studied Comedia delle’arte. Cameron flourished in his time abroad taking classical acting classes at LAMDA and being a part of their production of Twelfth Night as Orsino.
When not creating theater or writing screenplays, Cameron can be found spending time with friends, playing basketball, reading a play, or falling more in love with his hometown of Los Angeles.
