About Cassidy
Cassidy Amberg is a deeply motivated and dazzling actor, singer, and dancer from the beaches of Los Angeles, California. While in UCLA’s Ray Bolger Musical Theatre Program, Cassidy has performed in Something Rotten (u/s Bea), Pippin, along with musical workshops; Myth of the Mountain (Lucy) and The Golden Record (Shirley Arden). Cassidy was an avid participant in UCLA’s student theatre groups, and served as Marketing Director of Act III Theatre Ensemble for two years, advocating for their mission of creating accessible queer theater. She performed in Act III’s Rocky Horror Show three (!) years in a row, as Janet, Columbia, and the Usherette. Cassidy’s other recent theatre credits include: The…Spelling Bee (Olive), Chicago (Roxie), Emma by Michael Bloom (Jane Fairfax), The Last Five Years (Assist. Dir.), and Bruins Care, a benefit concert held in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
Cassidy is passionate about intertwining her love of jazz and folk styles with musical theatre, as well as her interest and love of queer theatre spaces. She is so excited to bring her unique charisma and storytelling skills to the professional theatre world!
