About Claire
Claire Renoe (she/her) is a student actor and director at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. She has performed and assistant directed for main-stage productions in addition to working with fellow students to direct staged readings, gain dramaturgy experience, and perform in developing work including classmate Sarah-Lina Sparks’ The C Word, which she will direct this summer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Other performance credits include Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza and Gussie Carnegie in Merrily We Roll Along at Youth Musical Theater Company, Fanchetta in The Marriage of Figaro with Actors Ensemble of Berkeley, and Agnes Wickfield in David Copperfield at the Great Dickens Christmas Fair. Claire is a Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship recipient and a California Arts Scholar. She is passionate about creating accessible theater that inspires audiences to broaden their perspectives by stepping curiously into the life of another person.
