About Iris

Iris Zietlow is a singer/actress from Murrieta, California. Her recent credits include Something Rotten (UCLA), The Golden Record (UCLA Workshop), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Bruin Bard), Into the Woods (UCLA), Pippin (UCLA), and Pericles (UCLA). Iris has received an Inland Valley Theater League Award. A past pageant queen, she has held the titles of Miss Murrieta and Miss Inland California. Her vocal training is extensive and includes the styles of pop, rock, operetta, gospel, country, golden-age, and contemporary music theater. While at UCLA, Iris completed a minor in the Music Industry program at Herb Alpert School of Music. Iris enjoys writing songs on piano and guitar, aspiring to release her music in the future. An avid organizer, Iris helped manage an off-campus, cooperative housing property with eighteen bedrooms for the last two years! Bi-literate in American Sign Language and the sister of an adult with Down Syndrome and Autism, Iris is passionate about accessibility and disability rights.
