About Michael
Michael Guarasci (he/him) is an energetic and heartfelt actor from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Growing up, he was forced into every sport imaginable. He flailed around the field attempting to play football, soccer, and baseball, yet it wasn’t until his older sister convinced him to audition for the local community musical that he finally found something he loved to do. At the Florida Children’s Theater and under a full musical theater scholarship at the American Heritage School is where Michael’s passion for acting sprouted. Thanks to his family and community that raised him, he’s blossomed into the wonderful person and actor that you’re greeted with today.
Since hopping off the plane at LAX, Michael has deepened his skills through countless UCLA productions, ranging from the commanding, domineering “The Boy” in UCLA’s Utopia Parkway to his witty and eccentric performance as “Shakespeare” in UCLA’s Mainstage Production of Something Rotten!. In addition to the rehearsal room, you can find him directing the Development Department of Act III Theatre Ensemble, a UCLA community sworn to sharing and uplifting queer stories. You could also spot him gallivanting on stage wearing silly costumes in the Morale Team of UCLA’s Pediatric Aids Coalition, generating funds for Pediatric AIDS relief. He’s even spearheading the Marketing Committee of this showcase!
On the weekends, you can find him on a road trip with his closest friends or dancing in his room to “Rush” by Troye Sivan.
