About Samantha
Samantha Jackson (she/her) is an inquisitive young artist who utilizes her creative undertakings to unify audiences and share compelling stories. Growing up in Los Angeles, she has been entrenched by the all-encompassing artistic environment which has fostered her passion for dramatic arts. Samantha will be graduating from UCLA in the Spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Acting and minor in Entrepreneurship, in hopes to reinvigorate the cultural tenacity of the film and television industry by portraying the experiences of Black women on screen. Her dedication to her craft can be attributed to her extensive training with the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts (YADA), The Actor’s Circle, Sterling Studios with talent manager and producer Constance Tillotson, and classes with professional acting coach Lesly Kahn. Throughout Samantha’s collegiate career, she has starred as the lead in various short films, including the UCLA thesis film Long Dance, and two Biola student films known as The Boogeyman and The Kickback. Other film credits include her lead role in the promotional short film entitled Genesis, and working as a featured extra in the national amc commercial Synergy through the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program. Her most favorite pieces she’s worked on include the MFA theater production of 11:38 Fon Du Lac as the role of Jordy during her sophomore year, and her most recent performance playing the role Beverly in the show Fairview, the first production on the west coast in the show's history.
