Trent Lawson

Actor, recording artist, and storyteller Trent Lawson from the Bay Area, California, has never been more excited to jump into performing and creating professionally. From playing leading roles on the UCLA stage such as Jack from Into The Woods and Joe from The Time of Your Life to starring in short films, to songwriting, releasing music, arranging ICCA award-winning acapella pieces, and playing in bands at venues like the Viper Room and the Troubadour, Trent is a multifaceted artist at heart that hopes to be a part of projects that showcase his passion and versatility. He plans to live in Los Angeles and pursue an acting career in film and TV. In addition, given his musical background, he hopes to blend his acting with his love for music in new and groundbreaking ways in whatever medium they may present themselves.

Growing up in the diverse Bay Area, Trent was introduced to the wonders of soul and gospel music from an early age. He would spend his early weekends singing in church and would go on to foster many kinds of artistic talents that express his creative soul and his desire to make all kinds of art that inspire people to see the best parts of themselves. More than anything he is passionate about telling authentic Black stories and creating work that uplifts people of color in a world where they are often overlooked and misrepresented. Other than making hit songs, his hobbies include drawing, snowboarding, and spending time with his dog. Trent cannot wait to show the world what he has to offer.
